First Coast Service Options Inc. (FCSO) is happy to note that it was awarded the Part A/Part B Medicare administrative contractor (A/B MAC) in Florida, Puerto Rico, and the U. S. Virgin Islands. The transition period for this contract is October 1, 2008, through March 2009. Per the MAC scope of work, no new LCDs can be introduced during this transition period; therefore, FCSO will not be holding an open public meeting.
