First Coast Service Options Inc. (FCSO) has discovered reason code 38067 (services that overlap a previously processed outpatient claim) is being assigned incorrectly on some skilled nursing facility (SNF) claims with type of bill 21X against some outpatient services billed on types of bill 13X and 14X.

FCSO is researching this issue to determine the cause and resolution.

Providers do not need to take any action. FCSO has set reason code 38067 to suspend for manual claim adjudication.
