First Coast Service Options Inc. (FCSO) recently learned that certain laboratory codes reimbursed via the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) were not reimbursed at the line level for dates of service beginning July 1, 2008. This national error was corrected September 6, 2008.

Twenty procedure codes were affected:

FCSO is in the process of identifying the affected claims and will perform a mass adjustment to correct the reimbursement. You do not need to take any action.
